This work begins at the roots
I came to plant medicine during a time when I was navigating debilitating Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, after a lifelong relationship with mental health challenges. Through working with fungal allies, my symptoms began to ease, and over time my PTSD moved into remission. I was struck by the clarity and emotional steadiness that emerged through microdosing.
Several months later, I began experiencing new symptoms, along with bloodwork that pointed toward an autoimmune condition. After struggling to find meaningful support through conventional routes, I once again turned toward plant medicine.
In working with plants like California poppy, kava root, and cramp bark, I found a deeper sense of relief, particularly in how my body held and processed pain. As I continued, my relationship with the plants began to shift from simply seeking relief to something more relational and rooted.
During this time, I began connecting with what is understood as badger medicine — a teacher that emphasizes working from the root, building relationship from the ground up. I felt guided to meet the plants not only in their finished form, but at their beginning.
This is what led me into cultivation. Into the soil, into the early stages of growth, tending to these allies as seedlings and learning to build relationship slowly, with care and attention.
This way of working has shaped everything I offer. I am dedicated to supporting others in forming their own relationships with plant medicine, especially those navigating chronic pain, whether physical or emotional; and in finding pathways toward relief, resilience, and reconnection.
